Alexi Casilla (hamstring) expects to be activated from the disabled list on Tuesday. Casilla has been nagged by a hamstring issue since late July, as he attempted a return in mid-August after aggravating the injury in his first game back. He's been running with no issues, though, and appears good to go. We wouldn't count on him for fantasy purposes down the stretch.

The Twins will make a decision after this weekend whether Alexi Casilla (hamstring) will return this season. Casilla has been running lately with no issues and will run the bases in front of the Twins' brass this weekend. He may very well make a few token appearances late in the year, but we're not counting on it.

The Twins haven't ruled out a return of Alexi Casilla (hamstring) this season. "The reports out of Minnesota is that he's feeling pretty good and running," assistant athletic trainer Dave Pruemer said. "So, we just need to get him back running the bases and see where we're at with him." Casilla has felt better before, only to have a setback, so while it's good that he's progressing, we're not holding our breath for a possible return.

Alexi Casilla (hamstring) will fly back to Minnesota to be re-evaluated Friday. Due to bad weather in Florida, Casilla has been running on a treadmill. He's had numerous setbacks with his hamstring injury, but the Twins are still hopeful he'll make it back before the end of the season.

Alexi Casilla has suffered a setback in his rehab from a strained right hamstring. Casilla aggravated his hamstring Monday during his first rehab game with High-A Fort Myers. He is now scheduled to rest for a few days before being reevaluated. The 27-year-old infielder has already aggravated the injury twice in the span of three weeks, so don't count on him as a stolen base option down the stretch in AL-only leagues.

Alexi Casilla (hamstring) is aiming to return to the Twins by the weekend. Casilla began a minor league rehab assignment Sunday with Triple-A Rochester and is likely to remain down on the farm for the next four or five days. The infielder has been on the disabled list since the middle of August with a right hamstring strain.

Alexi Casilla (hamstring) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Rochester Sunday. Casilla hasn't had any trouble running of late and is ready to test out his hammy in game action. Of course, he didn't have any issues leading up to his first return from the DL and then aggravated the injury in his first game back, so hopefully things go a little smoother this time.

Alexi Casilla (hamstring) is nearing a rehab assignment. Casilla has been running of late without issues. He should be ready to rejoin the Twins when or shortly after rosters expand.

Alexi Casilla (hamstring) said he will resume on-field activities on Sunday. It will be the first time he's done so since he re-injured his right hamstring on August 12 against Cleveland. We don't expect to see him until September. The Minnesota middle infielder is hitting .260 with 16 stolen bases on the season.

Twins manager Ron Gardenhire expects Alexi Casilla (hamstring) to miss "at least" 2-3 weeks of action. Casilla aggravated his hamstring injury in his first game back from the disabled list, and you can bet the Twins will be extra cautious with him this time around. We wouldn't expect to see him until September.
