Pirates manager Clint Hurdle suggested Sunday that Alex Presley may be close to gaining a promotion. Presley, 25, has registered a .333/.384/.509 batting line with eight homers and 34 RBI in 69 games this season for Triple-A Indianapolis. The only thing keeping him in the minors is the fact that the Pirates have a fairly crowded -- and also somewhat talented -- outfield depth chart. The Bucs want Presley to get regular playing time.
