Kirilloff went 1-for-3 with a double and three RBI in Saturday's 6-0 win over the Rockies.
EDGE Analysis
The three RBI were a season-high total for Kirilloff, who is slashing .222/.214/.370 in eight games since receiving a call-up from Triple-A St. Paul on June 17. He'll start at first base and bat fifth in Sunday's series finale, and Kirilloff should be a fixture in the Minnesota lineup while Luis Arraez continues to play regularly at second base in placed of the injured Jorge Polanco (back).

Kirilloff will start at first base and bat seventh in Tuesday's game against the Guardians.
EDGE Analysis
Kirilloff will pick up his third consecutive start at first base after he went a combined 2-for-9 with two doubles, two RBI and a run in the final two contests of Minnesota's weekend series in Arizona. While Jorge Polanco (back) is on the injured list, Luis Arraez is expected to fill in as the Twins' primary second baseman, paving the way for Kirilloff to get a trial as the team's top first baseman. The lefty-hitting Kirilloff is likely to occupy the strong side of a platoon with the righty-hitting Jose Miranda.

Kirilloff was recalled from Triple-A St. Paul on Friday, Betsy Helfand of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 24-year-old has been in the minors for more than a month and has a 1.415 OPS with nine homers and 25 RBI in his past 17 games, and he'll rejoin the big-league club Friday with Jorge Polanco (back) headed to the injured list. Luis Arraez is likely to see more playing time at the keystone, which should open up opportunities for Kirilloff at first base.

Kirilloff hit two home runs Saturday for Triple-A St. Paul and is hitting .379 with eight homers and a 1.158 OPS in 24 games since being sent to the minors May 15.
EDGE Analysis
Kirilloff will likely be called up again soon, but the Twins wanted to see him thrive in the minors after he missed several weeks after suffering inflammation in his surgically repaired right wrist in mid-April and early May. There was a fear that Kirilloff may have had his power sapped from a setback to his wrist that needed surgery to repair a ligament tear last summer. It looks like his wrist is fully healthy, and he may be able to show the power in the majors again that he did at his peak last season.

Kirilloff was optioned to Triple-A St. Paul on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Kirilloff missed several weeks with a wrist injury in mid-April and early May, and he was unable to generate much production at the plate when healthy. The 24-year-old hit just .172 with two runs, a walk and 12 strikeouts over 10 games, and he'll be sent to the minors to right the ship. Jose Miranda is starting at first base and batting sixth Saturday and should serve as the primary first baseman since Miguel Sano (knee) remains on the injured list.

Kirilloff is starting at first base and batting eighth Saturday against the Athletics.
EDGE Analysis
He was activated Friday but was left on the bench against a lefty. He slots into the bottom third of the lineup against righty James Kaprielian. It seems that Kirilloff will have to earn both a prominent spot in the lineup and opportunities against same-handed pitching.

Kirilloff, who was activated from the injured list Friday, is not in the lineup against the A's.
EDGE Analysis
With lefty Zach Logue on the hill for Oakland, it seems the Twins will ease Kirilloff back into action. Gilberto Celestino is starting in center field with Byron Buxton getting the start at DH and Jose Miranda starting at first base. Also of note: Max Kepler and Trevor Larnach remain in the lineup against the southpaw.

Kirilloff (wrist) was activated from the 10-day injured list prior to Friday's game against the A's, Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
He hit .227 with zero extra-base hits, six strikeouts and six walks in 22 at-bats on his rehab assignment. Luis Arraez was placed on the COVID-19 injured list in a corresponding move. Kirilloff should assume a regular role with the Twins going forward.
