Faedo (1-4) allowed five runs (four earned) on eight hits across 4.1 innings to take the loss Monday against the Red Sox. He walked two and struck out two.
EDGE Analysis
Pitching against this Boston lineup at Fenway Park is a tough task, and Faedo never really found his footing, as the Red Sox scored at least one run in the first, third, fourth and fifth innings. That's two rough outings in a row for the righty, who's allowed 11 earned runs across his past 7.1 innings. Faedo has seen his ERA rise from 2.92 to 4.67 in the process. He's lined up to start again Saturday against the Diamondbacks, and given his recent results, fantasy managers should probably look elsewhere until Faedo shows signs of turning things around.

Faedo (1-3) allowed seven runs on nine hits across three innings to take the loss Wednesday against the White Sox. He walked one and struck out five.
EDGE Analysis
All good things come to an end. Faedo had allowed two runs or fewer in each of his first seven MLB starts, resulting in a 2.92 ERA. However, his eighth career start was a buzzsaw, and the 26-year-old saw his ERA climb to 4.28 as a result. His FIP sat at 3.92 before Wednesday, so some regression seemed likely, but this was still a very disappointing outing. Faedo will look to get back on track in his next scheduled start Monday against a tricky Boston lineup.

Faedo allowed one run on three hits across five innings but did not factor into the decision Wednesday against the Pirates. He walked one and struck out seven.
EDGE Analysis
Faedo allowed a solo home run to Jack Suwinski in the fourth inning but was otherwise lights out Wednesday. It continued a great start to his MLB career, as the righty now has a 2.92 ERA across his first seven starts. He's gone at least five innings and allowed two runs or fewer in all of those appearances. Faedo has quickly entrenched himself in the Detroit rotation, and he'll look to keep rolling in his next scheduled start Monday against the White Sox.

Faedo allowed two runs on five hits across five innings but did not factor into the decision in Thursday's win over the Twins. He walked two and struck out five.
EDGE Analysis
Detroit trailed 2-1 before rallying in the eighth inning, so Faedo was unable to earn his second win of the season. However, the 26-year-old still pitched well, which he's done consistently since making his MLB debut in early May. Faedo has gone at least five innings in all six of his starts and has allowed two runs or fewer in each outing as well. He'll carry a solid 3.09 ERA into his next scheduled start Wednesday against the Pirates.

Faedo (1-2) allowed two runs on five hits and two walks while striking out two in six innings, but he took the loss Saturday versus the Guardians.
EDGE Analysis
Faedo did well to keep the Guardians fairly quiet early on, but the Tigers' offense didn't give him enough support. The right-hander has yet to give up more than two runs in any of his five appearances this season, and Saturday marked the first time he's completed six innings. He's posted a 3.00 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 16:8 K:BB across 27 innings. Faedo lines up for a home start versus the high-scoring Twins next week.

Faedo won't start as scheduled Friday against the Guardians after the game was postponed due to inclement weather, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 26-year-old had his start against the Guardians postponed by a day last weekend due to inclement weather, and the same situation has surfaced again Friday. According to Cody Stavenhagen of The Athletic, Detroit's rotation will be pushed forward a day with Faedo starting Saturday and Elvin Rodriguez on the mound Sunday.

Faedo (1-1) allowed two runs on six hits across 5.1 innings to earn the win Sunday against the Guardians. He walked two and struck out two.
EDGE Analysis
Faedo had his Saturday start postponed due to inclement weather, so he had to wait an extra day before recording his first MLB win in his fourth career start. The righty has looked good in the early going, as he now has a 3.00 ERA and 1.33 WHIP across 21 innings. He's not missing a ton of bats, however, with just 14 strikeouts. That gives Faedo a smaller margin of error, but he'll look to keep rolling in his next scheduled start Friday against this same Cleveland squad.

Faedo and the Tigers won't play against the Guardians on Saturday after the game was postponed due to inclement weather.
EDGE Analysis
Faedo was slated to make another turn through the rotation Saturday, but he'll be unable to do so after the game was postponed. The game will be made up July 14, while Faedo will get an extra day of rest prior to starting in Sunday's series finale, Jason Beck of MLB.com reports.

Faedo is listed as the Tigers' starting pitcher for Saturday's game at Cleveland, Evan Woodbery of MLive.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Faedo's inclusion in the rotation for a fourth straight turn comes as little surprise after he once again turned in another serviceable outing while taking a no-decision in Monday's win over the Rays. He struck out four over 5.2 innings while allowing one earned run and five baserunners, lowering his ERA and WHIP to 2.87 and 1.28, respectively. The Tigers are expected to get Matt Manning (shoulder) back from the injured list early next week, but Faedo should have the chance to stick around as the team's fifth starter until one of Casey Mize (elbow), Tyler Alexander (elbow) or Michael Pineda (finger) is cleared to return from the shelf.

Faedo didn't factor into the decision Monday against the Rays, allowing one run on four hits and one walk while striking out four over 5.2 innings.
EDGE Analysis
Faedo came within one out of turning in a quality start, as he was pulled with two outs in the sixth inning after firing 56 of 83 pitches for strikes. He surrendered his only run in the bottom of the sixth on a solo home run and would exit with the lead before the Rays tied the contest in the eighth. Faedo's next start lines up tentatively for Sunday against the Guardians.
