Bregman underwent surgery on his right wrist surgery Monday, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.

The Astros will hope that Bregman's wrist troubles explain his poor performance late in the year, as he fell off down the stretch before posting a poor .604 OPS in the playoffs.
