Chicago Cubs pitching prospect Adbert Alzolay exited Tuesday's start after four innings with a Grade 1 lateral strain. Alzolay is the Cubs top prospect and has been a mixed bag this year for Triple-A Iowa. Alzolay went four scoreless innings on Tuesday to lower his ERA to 4.76. Alzolay will be re-evaluated in a few days to determine how long he will be out.

Alzolay now sports a cool 2.12 ERA over his first three starts. Alzolay is the Cubs top pitching prospect and has a chance to see some time with the big league club later on this summer. He is more of a name to monitor in dynasty leagues, as he is unlikely to help in redraft leagues in 2018.

Alzolay throws his fastball in the upper 90s, but is still developing his changeup to go along with his fastball and curveball.
