Adam Lind (back) could be activated Thursday. Lind went 3-for-5 with two doubles in his second rehab game Monday with High-A Dunedin on Monday and will play nine innings of first base Wednesday. As long as that goes smoothly, the Jays will add him back to their active roster.

Adam Lind (back) went 3-for-5 with two doubles and an RBI on Monday in his second rehab game with High-A Dunedin. Lind, out since mid-April with lower back tightness, is currently on track to be activated when the Blue Jays return home this week. He should see regular at-bats upon his return, but it will be interesting to see what the Blue Jays do with Juan Francisco, who has been impressive while filling in.

Adam Lind (back) went 0-for-3 with a walk and a strikeout Sunday in his first rehab game with High-A Dunedin. Lind will play another rehab game Monday and is on track to return when the Blue Jays return home this week. The 30-year-old has been sidelined since mid-April with lower back tightness. Juan Francisco has made a strong case to stick around even after Lind returns.

Adam Lind is expected to be activated from the disabled list in the middle of next week. Blue Jays manager John Gibbons indicated that it could be Wednesday, but if not would surely be shortly afterwards. It remains to be seen how Juan Francisco's playing time will be diminished once Lind is back in the fold.

Blue Jays placed INF Adam Lind on the 15-day disabled list with lower back tightness. Lind was pulled from Tuesday's game when his back got tight on him, and he was unable to progress in recent days which necessitated the move. In a corresponding move, Juan Francisco was recalled from Triple-A Buffalo.

Adam Lind (back) will be re-evaluated after doing some drills Friday. Lind was removed from Tuesday's game with lower back tightness. If he feels alright after doing drills Friday, he'll avoid the disabled list. If he doesn't, he could be the roster move the Blue Jays make when they activate Jose Reyes (hamstring) from the DL on Saturday.

Although the Blue Jays are listing him as day-to-day, Adam Lind (back) admitted that it "would be a miracle" if he felt better Wednesday. Lind was lifted from Tuesday's game with lower back tightness. It's sounding like an injury that could ultimately force him to the disabled list, but we'll just have to see how he recovers. At the very least, he figures to miss the next couple games.

Adam Lind left Tuesday's game against the Twins with lower back tightness. Lind dealt with back issues late last season, as well, though it's not clear if this is a flare-up of that ailment. The Blue Jays should provide an update on his status after the game.

Adam Lind went 3-for-3 with two runs scored in Sunday's win over the Orioles. Lind also walked twice, reaching base all five times he came to the plate. The first baseman/designated hitter has been one of the Blue Jays' best hitters in the first few weeks, as he's now batting .312 with a .450 on-base percentage. He was awarded for his strong start by hitting cleanup in Sunday's game, and it could continue -- meaning a boost to his counting stats -- if his hot hitting does as well.

Adam Lind provided the bulk of the Jays' offense on Tuesday, blasting a three-run home run against the Rays. Lind went yard in the first inning, staking starter Drew Hutchison to an immediate 3-0 lead. Lind also singled and walked, capping off a productive night. He had his best season in five years last season. For fantasy purposes, the RBI opportunities won't be so plentiful as he hits behind the homer-prone Jose Bautista and Edwin Encarnacion, who will end up clearing the bases frequently before Lind steps to the plate.
