Adam Jones is Not in the Lineup on Thursday rotoballer.com Thu 8/9/18 2:18 PM
Baltimore Orioles outfielder Adam Jones (rest) is not in the starting lineup against the Tampa Bay Rays on Thursday. It appears that Jones is getting a routine day off to rest. Joey Rickard will bat eighth and play center field against righty Hunter Wood. Rickard does not have enough upside worth considering in DFS contests.

But until then, there is still plenty of important prospect names to follow. Though most of the pl[...]
AL-Only Waiver Wire Team of the Week: MLB Week 19 (September Call-U... rotoballer.com Mon 8/6/18 3:15 AM
Every week in baseball, a significant player will hit the disabled list, slip into a slump, or get traded out of a good spot. How fantasy owners adapt to these situations can make or break the season as a whole. One lousy add might not hurt the long-term standing of a team, but failing to take advantage of breakouts or impact bats before others sure can.
The primary challenge of playing in an NL or AL-only league is often the lack of options regarding adding and subtracting players when neede[...]
Kevin Gausman To The Braves - Fantasy Implications rotoballer.com Thu 8/2/18 3:25 AM
With so many big-name players changing teams this trade deadline Kevin Gausman may fly under the radar. On the surface, he doesn't look like much, with a 5-8 record and 4.43 ERA, 1.38 WHIP, and 7.55 K/9 in 21 starts with Baltimore this season. However, this move to Atlanta could be exactly what Gausman needs to find success.
Gausman was traded from Baltimore along with currently injured reliever Darren O'Day for four minor leaguers. The minor leaguers are pitchers Evan Phillips and Bruce Zimm[...]

Adam Jones Won't Be Traded rotoballer.com Tue 7/31/18 10:18 AM
Baltimore Orioles outfielder Adam Jones will not be traded at the deadline on Tuesday. The veteran outfielder may have evoked his full no-trade clause to remain in Baltimore. Even on the worst team in baseball in 2018, Jones has been fantasy relevant with a .285 average, 11 home runs and 44 RBI. He would've been much more attractive with a contender down the stretch, though.

Adam Jones Likely To Stay With Orioles In 2018 rotoballer.com Sun 7/29/18 6:56 AM
Despite his name appearing in trade talks, Baltimore Orioles center fielder Adam Jones is likely to remain with the O's through the rest of the 2018 season, per The Athletic's Dan Connolly. Due to his service time, Jones can veto all trades, so it would be his decision as to whether or not he would be allowed to be traded. Per Connolly, Jones will likely stay with the O's to avoid uprooting his family in the middle of the season and to properly end his time with the team he has been with for th[...]
Adam Jones Plates Four Friday rotoballer.com Sat 7/28/18 7:57 AM
Baltimore Orioles center fielder Adam Jones had a monster day at the plate in Friday's 15-5 routing of the Rays. Jones went 3-for-5 with two singles, a three-run home run, and four RBI. Despite playing in a weak offense, Jones has put together a decent fantasy season to this point, batting .281 with 11 HR and 42 RBI. With his name in trade talks, there is potential for his fantasy value to increase by the end of the month.
Odds Are Good That Adam Jones Will Be Traded rotoballer.com Fri 7/27/18 7:58 AM
A source familiar with talks said the odds are "55-45" that Baltimore Orioles outfielder Adam Jones will be traded before the deadline on Tuesday. The Indians and Phillies both have interest in Jones, and he'd most likely move to right field for either team. The main obstacle might be Jones' 10-and-5 service-time rights, which give him the ability to block a trade to any team. Some observers think he might want an extension or at least assurance that he's part of the plan, and the Orioles have [...]
