Duvall went hitless and struck out four times in five at-bats Tuesday in the Braves' 12-7 win over the Twins.
EDGE Analysis
After being recalled from Triple-A Gwinnett in late July, Duvall went 12-for-25 with five home runs in his first six games with the big club, unseating rookie Austin Riley for an everyday role in the outfield in the process. Though Duvall will make his 12th consecutive start in Wednesday's series finale, his grip on a full-time gig may be loosening. Since the hot six-game stretch, Duvall has gone 2-for-18 while striking out 11 times in five contests.

Duvall went 1-for-3 with a home run in Thursday's 4-1 win over the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
Duvall crushed a 431-foot leadoff homer against Wandy Peralta in the sixth inning to extend Atlanta's lead to 4-1. The 30-year-old has now homered in five of his six games since getting recalled from Triple-A Gwinnett. Through 25 plate appearances, Duvall is slashing .480/.462/1.120 with seven RBI and seven runs scored. Obviously those numbers won't last forever, but it might be worth it to the Braves to make room for the slugger while he's hot.

Duvall went 4-for-5 with two home runs and three runs scored in Tuesday's 11-8 win over the Nationals.
EDGE Analysis
Duvall was recalled Saturday and has played only four games with the Braves this season, but he's already managed to make quite an impact during his brief time in the majors. The 30-year-old is 9-for-17 with three home runs and figures to continue seeing regular opportunities, at least until he cools down.

Duvall will start in right field and bat fifth Monday against the Nationals, David O'Brien of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
With a left-hander (Patrick Corbin) on the mound for Washington, Ender Inciarte will head to the bench, leaving room in the lineup for both Duvall and Austin Riley at the corner-outfield spots. Because Inciarte is capable of playing center field and is swinging a hot bat since returning from the injured list earlier this month, he'll likely be assured a regular work versus right-handed pitching, leaving Duvall and Riley to battle for the remaining starting spot opposite Ronald Acuna. After mashing at Triple-A Gwinnett this season and producing four hits over his first two starts with Atlanta, Duvall could retain the edge on the job over Riley, who is batting just .167 with a 42.4 percent strikeout rate in July. It's worth noting that Riley was on the bench for each of the previous four contests and is batting lower in the lineup (seventh) than Duvall in the series opener in Washington.

Duvall went 3-for-5 with two runs scored, two RBI and a home run in Saturday's win at Philadelphia.
EDGE Analysis
Duvall was recalled from Triple-A Gwinnett earlier Saturday and immediately slotted into the starting lineup to make his season debut with the Braves. The 30-year-old had a disappointing .639 OPS between Atlanta and Cincinnati last season, and he'll look to rediscover the power stroke that led to back-to-back 30-homer seasons in 2016 and 2017.

Duvall was recalled from Triple-A Gwinnett on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Nick Markakis (wrist) was placed on the 10-day injured list in a corresponding move. The 30-year-old outfielder has enjoyed a nice season in Triple-A, slashing .259/.349/.582 with 29 home runs and 84 RBI in 347 at-bats. He figures to get some starts versus left-handed pitching moving forward.

Duvall was optioned to Triple-A Gwinnett on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
After struggling following a midseason trade to the Braves in 2018, Duvall picked up where he left off this spring, hitting just .171/.306/.317 through 19 Grapefruit League games. As such, Atlanta opted to send the 30-year-old to the minors to open the season, leaving Matt Joyce, Charlie Culberson and Johan Camargo to compete for work as the team's fourth outfielder.

Duvall's roster status is "tenuous at best," David O'Brien of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Duvall struggled mightily following a mid-season trade to Atlanta in 2018, and he's done little this spring to suggest he'll turn things around in 2019. As such, it sounds like the Braves won't hesitate to release the outfielder if a better option comes along. Should Atlanta stick with Duvall, he'll be limited to a bench role, seeing most of his opportunities against left-handed pitching.

Duvall went 2-for-3 with two solo home runs in Sunday's Grapefruit League game against the Marlins.
EDGE Analysis
The first blast came against Dan Straily, so the veteran outfielder wasn't just feasting on minor-league pitching. Duvall is set to begin the season on the bench for the Braves, primarily spelling Nick Markakis in left field against LHP and seeing DH at-bats during interleague play, so while he still has some pop, his fantasy value will mainly come as a DFS option.

Duvall is hitless (0-for-5) through his first three appearances this spring.
EDGE Analysis
Duvall has yet to get things going this spring, continuing a trend that dates back to his arrival in Atlanta last July. The outfielder hit just .132/.193/.151 in 57 plate appearances for the Braves following a trade from Cincinnati. The Braves brought back Nick Markakis, pushing Duvall back to a bench role heading into the season.
