Toronto Blue Jays starter Aaron Sanchez went six innings, allowing three runs on six hits in Wednesday's 10-3 win over the Tampa Bays Rays. Sanchez walked two batters while striking out eight and picked up his fourth win of the season. It was a solid bounce-back performance from the 26-year-old, as he allowed a combined 11 runs in his two previous starts. He still has a bloated 5.17 ERA on the season with a 1.61 [...]

Toronto Blue Jays starter Aaron Sanchez was tagged for five runs on eight hits through 4 1/3 innings during Friday's matchup against the Miami Marlins. Sanchez also walked three batters while striking out only two. Luckily, the Blue Jays offense pulled off a comeback in the ninth inning to saddle him with a no-decision. Sanchez has given up a total of 18 hits and 11 runs in his two starts since being activated off of the disabled list. He has a tantalizing skill set, but this is back-to-back in[...]

Aaron Sanchez Will Rejoin Rotation on Saturday rotoballer.com Fri 8/24/18 2:40 PM

Toronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Aaron Sanchez (finger) will rejoin the Blue Jays starting rotation on Saturday versus the Philadelphia Phillies. Sanchez has a 6.55 ERA and 11/10 K/BB ratio over 11 innings during his three rehab starts. He has been sidelined since June with discomfort in his right middle finger. It is looking like Sanchez is going to be difficult to trust for fantasy, but we'll see how he performs on Saturday.

Aaron Sanchez Could Rejoin Jays This Weekend rotoballer.com Mon 8/20/18 1:14 PM

Toronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Aaron Sanchez (finger) is scheduled to make a start in Double A on Monday. Sanchez may rejoin the Jays by this weekend, according to manager John Gibbons. Sanchez has not pitched well during his last two rehab starts, so hopefully this one is better. Most fantasy owners can take a wait-and-see approach since it's unclear when Sanchez will return or if he'll even be helpful for fantasy leagues.

Toronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Aaron Sanchez (finger) allowed five hits and four runs while walking two and striking out four in three innings in his first rehab start on Thursday in the Gulf Coast League. That's not a very encouraging sign for the 26-year-old, who hasn't pitched for Toronto since June 21. He wasn't effective before his injury either, and fantasy owners shouldn't expect to get much, if anything, from Sanchez over the course of the next two months.

Toronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Aaron Sanchez (finger) is scheduled to make a rehab outing with the Gulf Coast Blue Jays on Thursday and is scheduled to throw 55 to 60 pitches. Manager John Gibbons thinks Sanchez will need two to three rehab outings before returning to the rotation. Sanchez has been out since June 21. He just can't seem to shake these nagging finger ailments and has become an afterthought in mixed leagues. He wasn't pitching very well before the injury either, going 3-5 with[...]

Aaron Sanchez Throwing Bullpen Session Saturday rotoballer.com Fri 7/27/18 3:14 PM

Toronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Aaron Sanchez (finger) was able to throw a bullpen session on Saturday. He has been out since June 21 with a right index finger contusion. It appears that Sanchez is almost back to full health and could start a rehab assignment shortly. He has pitched to a 3-5 record with a 4.52 ERA and a 67/45 K/BB ratio in 2018. Sanchez is just two years removed from an All-Star season and could be a player to watch upon his return.
