Nola (14-8) picked up the win Sunday against the Nationals, allowing three earned runs on nine hits and zero walks while striking out seven in five innings.
EDGE Analysis
Nola did not save his best for last, surrendering a leadoff home run to Luis Garcia in the opening frame, one of nine hits allowed by the veteran. Nola effectively worked around the traffic on the basepaths, however, limiting the Nationals to just three runs to pick up his 14th win of the season. The 31-year-old Nola was his steady, dependable self yet again for fantasy managers in 2024, pitching to a 3.57 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 197:50 K:BB in 199.1 innings (fifth in MLB). Excluding the COVID-shortened 2020 season, Nola has started 32 or more games in every season since 2018. During that span, he leads MLB in both starts (208) and innings pitched (1264.2), making him one of the most reliable starting pitchers in fantasy.

Nola (13-8) earned the win Monday, allowing two runs on seven hits and two walks over six innings against the Cubs. He struck out seven.
EDGE Analysis
Nola pitched into the seventh inning with a six run cushion while having shut out the Cubs through six. He ran into trouble in the inning, failing to record an out while allowing a couple of runs on a walk and three hits, including a couple of doubles. Despite the rocky end to his night, Nola maintained a quality start while cruising to his 13th victory of the season, clinching the first National League East division title for the Phillies since 2011. This marks the fourth-straight season and sixth-straight non-COVID season Nola has started at least 32 games while the 13 wins are the second most of his 10-year career. The veteran righty is in line to start on the final day of the regular season but with the playoffs around the corner, it also wouldn't surprise if the Phillies decide to limit him or hold him back as they finalize their postseason rotation.

Nola allowed a run on three hits and a walk while striking out nine over seven innings in a no-decision versus the Brewers on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Nola's lone mistake was a Rhys Hoskins solo home run in the fifth inning. This was Nola's best of four starts so far in September, though he's given up six homers over 21 innings this month. The veteran right-hander is now at a 3.54 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 183:48 K:BB through 188.1 innings over 31 starts. His next start is projected to be at home versus the Cubs.

Nola (12-8) took the loss Friday against the Mets, allowing six runs on six hits and two walks over 4.1 innings. He struck out seven.
EDGE Analysis
Nola was cruising early Friday, holding the Mets without a hit through his first four innings. However, things would unravel quickly in the fifth when New York led off the frame with back-to-back singles before Francisco Alvarez launched a three-run homer. Nola would allow a second three-run blast to Brandon Nimmo later in the frame, forcing the Phillies to turn to the bullpen. The 31-year-old Nola has now dropped back-to-back starts, allowing 10 earned runs over 9.1 innings in that span. His ERA now sits at 3.62 on the season with a 1.20 WHIP and 174:47 K:BB across 181.1 innings. Nola will look to get back on track in his next outing, currently scheduled for next week on the road in Milwaukee.

Nola (12-7) took the loss Saturday, giving up five runs (four earned) on nine hits and two walks over 4.2 innings as the Phillies fell 9-5 to the Marlins. He struck out five.
EDGE Analysis
A two-run homer by Connor Norby in the first inning and a solo shot by Jonah Bride in the fifth bookended Nola's shortest outing since June 13. The veteran right-hander has only one win in 10 starts since the All-Star break, posting a 3.45 ERA, 1.50 WHIP and 51:18 K:BB through 57.1 innings over that stretch, and the 31-year-old could be running out of steam as the regular season draws to a close. Nola will try to get back in the win column in his next trip to the mound, which lines up to come at home next weekend against the Mets.

Nola allowed two runs on four hits and a walk while striking out nine over six innings in a no-decision versus Atlanta on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
For the second time in three starts, Nola faced Atlanta and allowed two runs. He gave up a solo home run to Michael Harris in the third inning and another run on a fielder's choice in the fourth. Nola has quality starts in three of his last four outings and now sports a 3.29 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 162:43 K:BB through 172.1 innings over 28 starts this year. He's projected to make his next start at Miami in a favorable matchup.

Nola (12-6) earned the win against the Astros on Tuesday, allowing four hits and one walk while striking out six over seven scoreless innings.
EDGE Analysis
Nola worked around some early traffic but grew stronger as the game progressed, retiring the final nine batters he faced to earn his first win since July 11. The 31-year-old generated 14 swinging strikes on 102 pitches and has now yielded just two earned runs across 19 innings in his past three outings. On the season, he owns a 3.30 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and 153:42 K:BB across 166.1 innings and currently lines up to face Atlanta on Sunday night.

Nola allowed two runs on eight hits and two walks while striking out five over 5.1 innings in a no-decision versus Atlanta on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Nola gave up a two-run home run to Orlando Arcia, which was all Atlanta managed to put on the board. Nola's been in a bit of a rut, issuing multiple walks in five of his last six outings. In that span, he's allowed 13 runs (12 earned) over 34.2 innings, but he's now gone seven starts without a win. The right-hander is at a 3.45 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 147:41 K:BB through 159.1 innings across 26 starts this season. Nola's next start is projected to be at home versus the Astros.

Nola came away with a no-decision in Friday's 3-2 win over the Nationals, allowing seven hits and two walks over 6.2 scoreless innings. He struck out four.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran righty got stronger as the game wore on and didn't let a runner get past second base after the first inning, and Nola left the mound after 111 pitches (74 strikes) with the Phillies out front 2-0. He had to settle for his 16th quality start of the season when Carlos Estevez blew the save in the ninth, however. Nola has gone six straight starts without getting into the win column, and his strikeouts have dried up at the same time. During that stretch, he's posted a 3.67 ERA, 1.60 WHIP and 26:12 K:BB through 34.1 innings, and he's fanned more than four batters only once. Fatigue isn't likely to be a factor for the 31-year-old -- he's topped 200 innings three times in his career, and has tossed only 154 so far in 2024 -- but the Phillies may look to work some extra rest into his schedule given their comfortable lead in the NL East. Nola is currently scheduled to make his next outing on the road next week in Atlanta.

Nola (11-6) allowed four runs (three earned) on nine hits and three walks while striking out four over five innings to take the loss Saturday versus the Diamondbacks.
EDGE Analysis
Nola yielded multiple homers for the sixth time this season and has now given up nine long balls over his last eight starts. He's lost his last two outings and hasn't won in five starts, giving up 15 runs (14 earned) over 27.2 innings in the longer span. For the season, Nola has pitched to a 3.60 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 138:37 K:BB through 147.1 innings over 24 starts. He's projected to make his next start at home versus the Nationals.
