Nola allowed two runs on six hits and struck out six without walking a batter in seven innings versus the Marlins on Monday. He did not factor in the decision.
EDGE Analysis
Nola turned in his fourth quality start in his last six outings, though he looked to be in line for a hard-luck loss this time. The Phillies changed that with runs in the eighth and ninth innings for a comeback win after the right-hander was out of the game. His three-start win streak came to an end Monday, but he's still been pretty solid lately. Overall, Nola has a 3.42 ERA, 0.88 WHIP and 91:10 K:BB in 81.2 innings across 13 starts. He lines up for a favorable road start versus the Nationals this weekend.

Nola (4-4) earned the win Wednesday after he pitched eight scoreless innings, allowing four hits while striking out six against the Brewers.
EDGE Analysis
Nola was electric Wednesday, limiting the Brewers to just four singles and earning his third consecutive victory on the mound. The right-hander has been masterful against Milwaukee this season, tossing 15 scoreless frames with 15 punchouts over two starts against the team. Nola has been in a pattern of alternating strong outings and difficult outings over his last six starts, producing a 3.60 ERA and 0.90 WHIP with 44 strikeouts over 40 innings. He'll look to break that trend in his next outing, which tentatively lines up with him facing the Marlins on Monday.

Nola (3-4) picked up the win in Wednesday's 6-5 victory over the Giants, giving up five runs on five hits over six innings. He struck out five without walking a batter.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander took a shutout into the sixth inning but hit the wall hard, as the first five Giants batters in the frame all reached base, capped by a three-run blast from Wilmer Flores. Fortunately for Nola, the Phillies responded with four runs on the bottom of the inning to hand him back his win. He'll take a 3.92 ERA, 0.92 WHIP and 79:10 K:BB through 66.2 innings into his next start, with a 1.35 HR/9 souring his ERA despite his otherwise ace-like numbers.

Nola (2-4) allowed one earned run on five hits and no walks while striking out 10 across 8.1 innings to earn the win Thursday against Atlanta.
EDGE Analysis
Nola dominated Atlanta and allowed only two extra-base hits -- both to Matt Olson. He also struck out a season-best 10 hitters, backed by 24 called strikes and 15 swinging strikes across 109 total pitches. Nola entered the start having allowed 10 earned runs across his last three starts spanning 17.2 innings, but for the season he has maintained a 3.56 ERA and an elite 74:10 K:BB across 60.2 frames.

Nola didn't factor into the decision in Saturday's 7-4 loss to the Dodgers, giving up four runs on five hits and a walk over 5.1 innings. He struck out nine.
EDGE Analysis
The strikeouts were nice and tied Nola's season high, but he was also hit hard as four of the five knocks against him went for extra bases, including homers by Mookie Betts and Will Smith. Nola's now served up nine long balls in 52.1 innings on the season for a career-worst 1.55 HR/9, but he's balanced that out with a career-best 4.8 percent walk rate, leaving him with a 3.96 ERA and 0.99 WHIP.

Nola registered a no-decision during Sunday's 5-4 loss to the Dodgers, allowing two runs on four hits and two walks with eight strikeouts in seven innings.
EDGE Analysis
Nola was staked to an early four-run lead, permitting a run apiece in the third and fourth innings, and departed with a two-run lead. Unfortunately, the bullpen blew the game and Philadelphia has now lost all seven of Nola's starts since Opening Day despite the 28-year-old owning a solid 3.64 ERA. He'll go for his second win with a rematch against Los Angeles on tap for next weekend.

Nola (1-4) took the loss during Tuesday's 5-4 defeat at the hands of the Mariners, allowing five runs (four earned) on nine hits and one walk with six strikeouts in 5.1 innings.
EDGE Analysis
Nola fell behind early by surrendering four hits and two runs in the first inning with additional runs coming around in the second and sixth. Despite a quality 3.83 ERA and 1.00 WHIP, Philadelphia has managed to lose all six of Nola's starts since Opening Day. A 2.59 xERA and 2.56 xFIP suggest he should improve some going forward, with a tentative start Sunday against the Dodgers being the next opportunity.

Nola allowed one earned run on three hits and one walk while striking out seven across seven innings Thursday against the Mets. He did not factor into the decision.
EDGE Analysis
Nola allowed only a solo home run to Starling Marte in the seventh inning in an otherwise dominant outing. He exited the game with a 7-1 lead, but the Philadelphia bullpen imploded to blow what appeared to be a certain win for Nola. After allowing seven earned runs across first two starts of the season, Nola has allowed only six earned runs across his last four starts and 25.1 frames. Overall, he owns a 3.38 ERA with a 41:6 K:BB across 34.2 innings.

Nola (1-3) allowed three runs on seven hits over six frames Friday, striking out nine and taking a loss against the Mets.
EDGE Analysis
Nola found himself locked in a pitcher's duel with Tylor Megill to begin the game. He yielded just two singles through four shutout innings before the Mets finally broke through in the fifth. He gave up a two-run single to Jeff McNeil before Pete Alonso tacked on an insurance run with his sixth-inning solo blast. The Phillies were no-hit, handing Nola his third loss in the last four outings. He'll carry a 3.90 ERA into his next outing, a home rematch with the Mets next week.

Nola didn't factor into the decision during Sunday's 1-0 loss to Milwaukee, allowing one hit and one walk with seven strikeouts in seven scoreless innings.
EDGE Analysis
Nola pitched about as well as possible, but his superb performance was unfortunately matched by opposing starter Eric Lauer. The 28-year-old submitted an excellent 84 game score by allowing just two baserunners compared to seven strikeouts and lowered his ERA from 5.52 to 3.74 in the process. He'll look to keep things rolling against the Mets on Friday.
