Manager Aaron Boone said Judge (wrist) was able to play catch and could begin taking dry swings prior to Friday's game, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
If Judge is able to resume swinging Friday, or even sometime within the next couple days, there remains a chance that he could return to the fold before the end of August. Just playing catch was a big step forward for the outfielder, especially considering he received a cortisone shot in the wrist earlier this week due to some lingering discomfort. Once he's able to begin taking real cuts, a better idea of his eventual return will come into view.

General manager Brian Cashman said Judge (wrist) had a cortisone injection Tuesday and was able to do a couple outfield drills prior to Wednesday's game, Brendan Kuty of NJ.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Cashman stayed away from getting into any specifics regarding Judge's condition, so his timetable remains murky as we approach the initial three-week timeframe for the slugger to resume "swinging in game situations." Though that has clearly been pushed back -- as Judge has yet to resume swinging at all -- the outfielder has been making gradual progress, including tossing balls into a bucket and getting in some underwater work.

Judge (wrist) still has not resumed swinging, Lindsey Adler of The Athletic New York reports.
EDGE Analysis
Judge has been doing work in the pool and is expected to get some tests done in the coming days to determine how his fractured wrist is healing. An updated timetable for his recovery will hopefully come forth after he's reevaluated.

Judge has yet to pick up a bat but ran the bases Thursday as he works to regain full range of motion in his right wrist, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Judge was expected to begin taking dry swings during the club's series in Chicago earlier this week but remains well behind the initial timetable of three weeks, even though that was fairly optimistic. It has now been two weeks since Judge landed on the disabled list, and at this rate, it looks increasingly likely that the outfielder may not return until September.

Judge (wrist) is expected to take dry swings at some point during the Yankees' three-game series in Chicago that begins Monday, Lindsey Adler of The Athletic New York reports.
EDGE Analysis
Though Judge is set to take an incremental step forward in his recovery from a chip fracture in his right wrist, the slugger admitted Sunday that he continues to experience lingering pain and soreness. When Judge was first sidelined after being struck in the wrist by a pitch July 26, the Yankees outlined a three-week timetable for the outfielder's return to game action, but that estimate no longer appears realistic. With Judge's swinging now scheduled to take place a week later than initially planned, it's looking increasingly likely that his absence will extend to at least the last few days of August, if not early September.

Judge took part in some agility drills at Fenway Park on Thursday, Pete Abraham of The Boston Globe reports.
EDGE Analysis
Judge was placed on the disabled list Friday after suffering a chip fracture in his right wrist. It's good news that he's working to stay in shape, and his next test will be to take dry swings and hit off a tee, which should take place within the next week if all goes well.

Manager Aaron Boone said that Judge's three-week timetable to return from his wrist injury is "pretty realistic," and added that Judge could begin taking dry swings and hitting off a tee in a week, Marc Carig of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Boone's comments regarding Judge's timetable were slightly ambiguous because he failed to specify whether the three-week timetable is for the outfielder to return to major-league games or head on a rehab assignment, though his positivity was a good sign. If Judge is indeed able to start tee work and dry swings in a week, he will have a chance to return around the middle of August if all goes according to plan.

Judge (wrist) was put on the 10-day disabled list prior to Friday's game.
EDGE Analysis
As expected, Judge was shifted to the DL after suffering a chip fracture in his right wrist during Thursday's game. The Yankees announced that he will be shut down from swinging a bat for about three weeks, so don't expect to see him back in action at the big-league level until the end of August, at the earliest. In a corresponding move, the club recalled Tyler Wade from the minors. Look for Brett Gardner, Aaron Hicks and Giancarlo Stanton to regularly make up the three-man outfield while Neil Walker is in line for an increase in playing time at the DH spot.

Judge suffered a chip fracture in his right wrist and will be shut down from swinging a bat for roughly three weeks. He is not believed to require surgery.
EDGE Analysis
This is a crushing blow for the Yankee slugger, who suffered the injury when he was hit by a pitch in his first at-bat Thursday. He was sent for an MRI at a nearby hospital after X-rays at Yankee Stadium were inconclusive. With the three week timeline to start swinging a bat again, Judge will likely be out until mid-to-late August.

Judge (wrist) is awaiting the results of Thursday's MRI, Coley Harvey of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Yankees administered an X-ray at the stadium, but manager Aaron Boone told reporters that the results were unclear, which is why he was sent to a nearby hospital for further testing. With that, Judge and the Yankees are in a holding pattern until the results of the MRI and CT scan are made available.
