When a player fumbles on special teams, the site penalizes the individual player. I know this has been brought up in the past, but my league just had this come up in a game that is deciding a playoffs berth. I am going to have to manually change the scoring which will flip the result and it's causing a ton of unnecessary drama.
I know the problem is in how the stats are being fed to this site, but other sites have this figured out. Is there really no way to fix this?
Special team plays are not plays from scrimmage. That's why they have the term "play from scrimmage" to distinguish special team plays from normal plays.
They are still scored like plays from scrimmage though for our fantasy scoring purposes. If a player forces a fumble, he gets credited for the forced IDP fumble.

If the player fumbles on special teams, he is penalized by the site just like any other play from scrimmage.
As commissioner, you can override this to your liking though since you have discretion.
