In my league, there are no consolation playoffs, i.e. the fake games that appear on the scoreboard next to the actual playoff games are ignored and considered meaningless.

I would very much prefer it if we commissioners could have the option of seeing only the real playoff games on the scoreboard and turning off the consolation playoffs, i.e. if one of the settings were "Consolation Playoffs - Yes or No."

I just want the option of having a normal playoff structure like you'd see in the NFL, of having only the teams that make the playoffs play in the playoffs, and the nonplayoff teams not play in the playoffs.

It seems to me odd that these strange consolation playoff things are foisted upon even the customizable leagues here and displayed on the scoreboard alongside the real playoff games as if the real playoff games are just as insignificant.

I'm a big fan of the website and our league has been here for five years now. Just the forced consolation playoffs, and the clunkiness of the Message Board--those are two characteristics I could do without.
