This is a really important issue. I traded-up in my keeper league to draft ray rice with the first pick. Then when it came time to draft, two owners collaborated and the commish just put rice on the other owners team (didnt even go thru trade feature).

I called him out on the message board screaming bloody murder. He finally caved under pressure from the other owners......said that I needed to chill-out and to understand that him and his two "dope-smoking bros" were high at the time. Haven't had any problems since in that league.

But still a deadline is an obvious neccessity in the keeper format. And it doesn't seem like it would be all that much trouble from a programming perspective.

What I did with my league is tell everybody to set there keeper by a certain date, I let them know that the rosters will be cleared and if they do not set there keeper then they lose it - They will get them set the next day.

This is how I run my league, you can not keep the same keepers from last year & you can only keep a player 4 times max. It keeps things balanced

This feature would really help, it is a bit of a pain to keep track of every teams keeper history, then email them what they need to do.

I like this idea. Like you can only keep that player for 3 years then you don't have that option to keep him anymore.
