I have an idea for a returner roster spot that I'd like to share. Basically the returner slot would be unique in that a returner would score points on return yardage and touchdowns but nothing else, and likewise scoring points on returns would be limited to a player in the returner slot.

Any player on one's roster could fill the slot, even if they are already in the starting lineup in another position. I believe this would make fantasy rosters a little closer to the NFL and would add a little nuance to return scoring, which is currently pretty unpopular.

I'd be happy to clarify if my explanation doesn't seem to make sense. I realize this probably isn't feasible for the upcoming season, but it's an idea I've had brewing for a while and I wanted to share it somewhere in the hopes that it happens one day.
