A time limit like when you do a regulaer snake draft. If you don't make a pick in the time limit set by the commish your pick is made based on the player ranking list you previously set (if you do not do this it reverts to the FleaFlicker ranking list and takes the best player based on needs)
I was in 8 email drafts of which 3 took over three weeks to complete and two took two weeks. This is way to long to do a draft.
Also when an email draft is being done the system should be able to implement trades within minutes instead of the typical 24/48 hour time for voting.(this should be an automatic override when a draft is being conducted.
Also FleaFlicker should have more info available to users as to the value of players in dynasty, ppr and all other league types to make it easier to get a players value and make fair trades.-this is always more difficult in the preseason before the teams have their games and we have not had much workouts etc..

i'd like to offer a suggestion for the e-mail draft chart, when a commissioner is forced to make a selection for a absent or inactive owner, the selection could be highlighted, the name or that square will stand out to remind the commissioners or owner like that little flag
The slowdraft time limit/clock is what everyone I know has begged for. Either the ability to auto pick by commish clicked button or autopick after clock expiration. With auto pick using the preranks of the team being drafted for.
Without this there will always be a rift of doubt, frustration, distrust of collusion and people screaming about players taking too long or complaining about the comish cheating because of the pick they had to manually select.
This was needed far more than anything else added over the past five years. And it would be so simple to add. Why hasn't it been done?
Hi there! Thanks for taking the time to send us your feedback.
You are right, a timer would make the email draft better and it is something we plan to add in the future. Currently, what many commissioners due is to let the league know at the start of the draft that there will be a specific time limit for each pick, and if it goes beyond the time limit, the commish will choose for the owner the same way the auto-draft would (best available player that fits the roster needs).
Regarding the trade turnaround time -- we have a 24/48 hour review period so that the league and/or commish has a change to review and veto or cancel the trade. However, a commish could use our Commish Execute feature to speed this up during a draft, particularly if draft picks are being traded and time is of the essence.
If you are an Edge subscriber, you will see Dynasty and PPR rankings options both on the Cheat Sheet (fleaflicker.com) and in the Draft Rankings tool.
