You can select Activity in the nav and then Transaction Log, and then change the "Showing" filter to Claim in order to see all successful bids made. We don't show losing bids at this time, but we may consider adding that option if commissioners want it displayed in the future. I'll be sure to note your interest for this!
Please don't just consider it! Implement it. PLEASE! I like the idea that it would be an option the Commissioner can turn on or off for the league depending on what the teams in the league prefer. It's driving me nuts that I can't see this information even as a commish! I want to make sure everything is running smoothly and be able to answer any FAAB related questions an owner may have. Right now all I can say is, I think it's working right, and read the FAQ.
I would also request that you make a specific waiver section for it instead of just having it in the transaction section. Even with filters it's too messy.
I was trying to figure out my waiver situation after the weekend and had someone not asked a question about waivers I would have totally missed the fact that one of the players I wanted to cut didn't happen due to bidding to low and another player I wanted to pick up didn't happen because the pick up was voided by an earlier transaction. I was easily able to pick the guy up by dropping the guy I wanted to cut! And this is after I looked at the waiver section you do have implemented, showing me my past waiver claims and the transaction log from the day previous.
As a commish, please add my vote to the request to add the ability to see failed waiver bids. This is common on other fantasy sites, and in getting people in a league to be happy here, having as many of the same features as possible really helps.
100% agree that we need the ability to see unsuccessful bids! It's a huge part of the strategy through the season to see how much people attempt to bid for players.
Guess not, but just think through what would be required here. A whole new page would be needed with every player that received bids listed with the successful bid at the top followed by all the unsuccessful ones and the details of each and every bid made. Does that mean sub-menus or pages for each player with the details listed as it could be very long esp given that a lot if players get bid on each week? The work required to show all this detail would be tremendous for little gain IMO as really all each owner is truly interested in is what they bid for a player and what the winning bid was for said player.
You realize all this work is already done by the system. It has to be in order for it to process bids properly, the only thing we are asking for is for them to give us the option to display it!
They already display all the teams that win a bid for a player, and for how much. Displaying all the losing bids (if there were any) is just a matter of telling the system to show that as well. Hell you can have it so that you click on the winning bid and pop up displays all the teams that tried and what their bids were. Just like how you can click on a players point totals during a matchup and see the breakdown on how that player got his points. This isn't unheard of, I used a site in that past that showed that information, and would still be using it if I could convince enough of the league I am in to change to it.
Also there is a lot of information you can gather by knowing what other teams are bidding for players. It can help you plan future bids if you know how close previous bids were.
Yea I agree it's not a lot of extra work that's not already in the code. The problem is with where this item is on their priority list. The more people that ask for something, the higher priority it gets. This is a strategy and fun factor need, hope it gets added soon!!

I thought they implemented the Team Victory Coaching Win Stat at the beginning of the year. It seems to be working fine. Washington and Miami both have ZERO. Until they play week 6 for the right to draft a QB #1 next year !!
Where in the rules set do I find that? Keep in mind we want to be able to draft it as a separate position. I do notice that you can now give Team Defenses pts for Wins or Losses. Not sure how long that's been in there but it could be a compromise. In the past, along with team defenses we used to draft a separate position just for Team Victory. For example New England, or Bill Belichick, and every time they got a win they would get 4pts.
