It would be just like IR in which you'd have the option of putting only guys who are on BYE on this reserve list. You can specifically designate players who are OUT for IR. I think it'd be nice to have the option of putting guys on BR (BYE reserve).
I currently have the IR list reserved for injuries and BYE weeks in my league, but I have to police it and remind people to put guys back on the bench coming off byes and injuries.
I had a rule like this in my leagues in the early days when everything had to be done by hand. I called it the inactive list rule. The rule was you place a player who is on a bye on the inactive list for that week but you have to reactivate them to the current roster the next week or they get cut from your roster. I actually had the rule set so you could do it for any player even one who is playing that week but that each player was only eligible to be put on the list once for the year so the week they are on a bye would be the logical week to do it. But then after all the bye weeks were done you still had the option to do it each week but only for a player who hasn't been put on it already. It saved owners from having to cut a good player just to have to pick someone up for 1 week.
Right now, I have to use the Healthy designation to allow owners to put BYE players on IR. Then I have to go adjust the rosters on Tuesdays. A pain in the butt.
Nonetheless, I love Fleaflicker. So much better than the bigger corporate sites. Keep up the great work!
