I'd like to see a drop-down menu limiting what players could be in taxi squads (TS) OR add taxi squad scoring to the Optimum Points For total for each team... Which is what we use to determine Future draft positions in my Dynasty leagues.
I've seen guys like Zeke and Nuk inn a taxi squad because the owner said "I can't compete this season"
That's not how I envision TS purpose.
Limiting to rookies only or say, or players outside the top 50 in their position.
Otherwise... TS squads are just basically an IR spot set to HEALTHY.
Until there is a player limitations setting... I'm not using TS. To manually police leagues basically daily during the regular season would be a nightmare.
We've haven't added any customization options yet to Taxi Squads yet as we wanted to see what kinds of features folks were looking for beyond setting the number of players. So to your point, there are no enforcement rules at this time other than any custom mandates the commissioner communicates and polices. I'll be sure to note that you are looking for these particular capabilities to be added to Fleaflicker!
Yes, as commissioner I have to watch adds and drops all season to ensure nothing goofy has happened with Taxis. The league knows and doesn't do things on purpose but it would be easier if there was a demotion lock.

Yeah, I agree. Can you customize the Taxi squad as to lock it from adding players at a point during the season.

We are using it for rookie's only so being able to add restrictions would be beneficial. But love having the taxi squad to use
