Is there any way to make week 1 for fantasy hockey a bit longer? We have our league set to run the week from Monday-Sunday. However, since week one is a short week, we wanted to try to extend it so that the first week would includes games from this week AND next week. Is this possible?

I know you mentioned that if I remove week 1, it won't show scores for week 1. How will I know the PF for each team? By just going to the standings on monday morning, looking at the PF, and then adding it from there? Or is there a way I can see the actual scores despite not having week one added?
1) Remove Week 1 -> Go to Commish Options->Edit Regular Season Schedule>Custom>Remove the Week 1 games.
2) Set your lineup for Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday (you can set your lineup and play even though there shows no Week 1).
3) I can manually head into your league after the second week in our system ends (10/16) and add the points that you guys got for the first four games to the box score of your opening week. You can also add it by going to Commish Options>Edit Past Box Scores -- but I'd be willing to do it for you.
All you have to do is add the PF for the teams for the first four days to YOUR first week (our Week 2). I can do it, let me know.

Only scores from the past can be tweaked. If you link them to Week 1, they can get an idea though as to where they stand.

If you go to the scoreboard page, they will still tally up. They will also tally up in the standings page if everyone sets their lineup.

Yes, it is, but not directly.
Here is what I suggest doing.
