So the Texans are trying out every QB on the scrap heap to find one that won't suck - Garcia and Delhoume are the latest....Clements is not the answer and could your really trust your SB run to the Rookie Yates (Even if he was coached by Butch Davis at UNC)? . . . How about getting outside the box a little and going after a QB with some pedigree - NO not FAVRE - leave him in his Wranglers on the Ole Miss Farm - I am suggesting that Kubiak and Company go after Kurt Warner - Yes he's been out for over a year BUT can you honestly think of someone better right now with playoff/SB experience? It may take a couple of weeks to get him going and Yates could hopefully get you to 10 wins but then it's all about the second season...

Warner said no chance on coming back so thats a no go. They really need to go get someone who is actually in the league on a team not some dude from the couch. I hate to say it but it is grim for the texans.

As they run the ball 65% of the time, all they really need is a game manager. Favre and Warner are not options. Warner turned down the Bears when Cutler went down, and that offense was designed for him. Jeff Garcia, if healthy and in shape, could be their best option.

True on the Warner front BUT at some point this team is going to have to prove they can hit passes down the field - Schaub was a little bit more than a field manager as defenses had to respect the pass - it's been too long away from the game for Garcia - this late in the season though choices are limited....
