Am currently 3/4 through a 40player per team dynasty draft and I have been offered a trade. Would just like your advice whether I should accept this or not. I am new to dynasty football, this is my first attempt at it.

Anyway, the trade is: I have been offered Calvin Johnson in exchange for Michael Floyd WR (Ari) and my 2013 1st and 2nd rnd picks. What do you guys think?

Take the deal. Johnson could be the first WR to ever get 2000 yards in a season.

Thanks guys. I was thinking of accepting the deal anyway, but your advice has definitely swayed me to taking it. Cheers.

I would take that trade. You're getting the unquestioned #1 WR while giving up what amounts to a 1.6/1.7 in a rookie draft plus 2 future picks. So many rookies don't pan out and they take time to develop in to fantasy starters anyway. I'd go with the proven veteran, especially when its Megatron.

That is a horribly lopsided trade. Calvin Johnson for a rookie and 2 picks? The Calvin Johnson side is the clear winner.

Where was Calvin drafted in your league? 1.01?

Where was Floyd drafted in your league? 20th round? The draft picks won't make up the difference.

Why wouldn't you accept? Is there another Calvin Johnson in the league other then the Lions' WR?

No, I was just looking for other opinions. Whether it was too much to give up or not was all.

man, wish somebody would offer me that...
