Snake from round 3 and higher- Does this mean rounds 1-3 snake and the others don't? What's the value/reasoning/benefit here?

Snake from round 4 and higher - Does this mean rounds 1-4 snake and the others don't? What's the value/reasoning/benefit here?

Snake from round 5 and higher- Does this mean rounds 1-5 snake and the others don't? What's the value/reasoning/benefit here?
