Thinking of moving my leagues here from a pay site. Leery of a free site as they have no real responsibility to the league commishes. How is support here? How stable is the site? Any issues? Would you recommend?
Flea was a great site before, but since the move away from AOL, things have been even better. Customer support is great. Hal is very good at answering every question in a timely manner.
There are a number of options that Flea does not offer. However, improvements to the site were stalled due to the AOL situation. Look for a number of improvements for next season and beyond.
The site is extremely user friendly for both owners and Commissioners. My suggestion would be to come up with a list of what you absolutely need in a site, then contact Hal through the link at the bottom of the page. he will let you know what Flea offers, plus any work arounds for things they don't yet offer. If you do choose to play here, welcome aboard!
I moved our league here about 4 yrs ago from CBS and even though they've gone through an owner change the site and the guys who run it have been great. It's got a lot of options and is pretty user friendly - We have a 12 team league and have 3 divisions with a wild card system and a playoff bye week built in for the 2 best records so I like that you can pretty much set up your league however you want. There's really no issues I've run into (that haven't been resolved quickly) however for some of the late breaking news stuff I personally go to other sites as it may not reflect immediately on every player... Other than that it's been great.
I've only been using this site for a year, but I like it a lot. There's only been 1 issue in the entire year I've been here, and they resolved it pretty quick, if I remember correctly it was a congestion issue. It's pretty straightforward and really easy to use, I would recommend.
