For me I cannot see any advantage over an email draft. Email may take longer but everyone gets to choose their own team so the drop out rate in my leagues is practically zero.
I live in the UK so most live drafts are at 0300 as no allowance is made for time differences the commish simply picks the time and date that suits him/her best and sod everyone else.
Auto draft gets worse every year and teams that I have built up each year get ruined in about 30 minutes
