So when we transfered our league from ESPN to flea flicker the trade deadline didnt populate which for the past 3 years of the league has always been late November. We just had a team accept a trade that was proposed weeks ago and is complaining that it has to be allowed. We have written league rules that dont specify a trade deadline and say that any rules changes need to be voted on. The league memeber is saying that me as commish vetoing the trade due to a trade deadline passing is a rules change and needs to be voted on. This is why I hate being in charge. Anyone have any opinions?
I would say that you should tell that owner to refer to the trade deadline that had been established previously since your intention was to have the same rules. You can set the trade deadline on fleaflicker once the new league year begins. I would think at some point your league would allow trades again, they could make their trade then.
