I am starting a new Auction/Keeper league this year. 10 teams, $280 budget, QB gets 6 for all TDs. qb,rb,rb,wr,wr,wr,te,flx (rb,wr,te) k, def. Seems as if the top 5 RBs & 3 WRs will be kept from last years rosters, Rodgers, Brees will be gone also. I am only keeping Cam Newton, should I or try & bid on another QB (Stafford, Brady, Romo, Eli, Rivers etc...)? I don't have a shot at the RBs or top WRs since they are beong kept by other owners.
You aren't in a 2 QB league, so you need to go after RB and WR before QB. I would suggest going for a RB as you need to start two and the top tier is gone already.
Thanks man! I get Cam pretty cheap $46. BUT I see now that most everyone is throwing their elites in the draft pool now, so you're correct. I need to spend that $ on RBs.
I may have not been clear in the first post. Should I keep Cam or try & get him cheaper or possibly one of the more elite guys since I think they all will be available.

I don't think I would keep Newton. You could probably get a good QB for half that price. Spend your money on RB.
