what happens to a team that has an illegal roster??? for instance they hava palyer on ir however they player isn't injured. their is a red note on the team that says illegal roster, but is their something in the game that punished the team?
I believe FF allows teams to play with an Illegal Roster. However they cannot make any player transactions till the owner fixes the roster. They can still set their line up but cannot make trades or waiver pick ups until they correct their roster. Our league plays with one IR spot for any player doubtful or worse. Unfortunately many times the IR player status is not updated right away and teams end up "Illegal" at game time or even during game time. You can't really penalize an owner for that. We pretty much use the honor system that the owner will fix their roster as soon as they see it and if they don't they still can't p/up players so there's really no down side. Has not been a problem so far for us.
