I was thinking, what if your IDP players were assigned to your opponents offensive players? Meaning their positive play would reflect poorly on the offensive player they are assigned to.

DBs to WRs

DBs and LBs to TEs

DLs, DBs and LBs to RBs and QBs

So, your opponent has Julio Jones and Garcon at WR. You play your highest scoring DB vs the receiver you think will have the better game, Julio Jones. Depending on both players performance, Jones could have points deducted if your DB plays a good game, and if your DB has a career day, he could totally erase Jones impact from the game.

Just a thought on another way to play with IDP players.

Any thoughts on the actual application and if it could work?

I agree lol. How the hell would you determine what is a "good" or "career" game and how many pts to deduct from the offensive players total? It's like trying to decide what is a catch right now lol. Let the drugs wear off and go back to the drawing board man lol.
