Wondering if I can disable consolation brackets. Our nonplayoff teams' draft order is decided by last week of regular season. The consolation games are meaningless and just add confusion to draft order.
Fleaflicker already ranks the draft order for non playoff teams based on regular season finish. In fact it ranks all teams except the 2 in the championship game by final regular season finish. They get put as the last 2 picks. The consolation bracket decides nothing it's just for fun.
if you want to do away with consolation brackets just tell everyone to take all their starters out of lineup and leave them blank once the regular season ends. But you don't have to worry about rankings being changed by consolation bracket if it is played.
thanks. yeah I saw that this season. I must have been so used to NFL using the rankings AFTER consolation games that I just automatically did it anyway. or like I told my guys - I kept reminding them so many times that nonplayoff teams order was already decided that I thought I had to change stuff here too last two years
