No drafts in this league - ever. Ignore any draft date you see, that is only so we know when our claims process starts.
1 week after the NFL draft, we distribute a fresh batch of FAB (the worst teams from previous year get more FAB) and start the claims process for rookies.
I set the roster max to 41, so everyone can claim ONE player.
Next week, I add 1 more bench slot and we go again. We do this for 6 weeks, adding 1 bench slot each week, and adding in a small amount of extra FAB each week as well, so no one COMPLETELY runs out of FAB during this process.
During this process, no one is allowed to drop players because that would enable them to claim more than 1 rookie each week.
It is all spelled out in the league notes, which is complete with our yearly calendar showing all dates. But if you read the above, you know all you need to know.
Friendly group of people there. You can ask as many questions as you want and we will be glad to help.
TIP: You must be active every week during the 6 week waiver process or you will miss out on claims. You would still get to [pick the same number of rookies over the 6 week period, but if you are absent the first week or 2, you will give up any chance for a really good RC.
