Our keeper league is in its 18th year of operation. By and large there isn’t a great deal of turnover, seven of us have played here over 10 years, six of us since 2010, five from the very beginning. Yes, in a free league. But we take it serious. There's a reason half of us have been here 15 years or longer even though it’s free. If you intend on blowing us off cause there’s no money involved then this isn't the league for you.
The person you’d be replacing left unexpectedly due to a critical illness. The team is currently 2-2.
I've attached links to the league rules (above) and to our full scoring settings, but here’s a general synopsis of what you need to know:
Weekly lineup is 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, one TE, one flex, defense and kicker. 6 pts per passing TD, D/ST scoring is escalated. There's a midseason contest starting in Week 6 for the first waiver pick in Week 9. There’s also a postseason consolation tournament for teams that don't make the playoffs. The team that scores the most points wins the #1 pick the next season.
Below is the roster you would take over and their keeper draft round, obviously that's not a big concern in-season but may impact roster decisions.
