I'm leaning towards Ryan in this one but it's really close. Romo is coming off a bye week which I think could be a very good thing for him and the receivers but then again he's been very erratic this season. Anyone have any advice on either that would convince me to go with one over the other?
Thanks for the detailed post. This really is a tough one because I feel like both QB's are pretty evenly matched here. I like that Romo is coming off the bye week but R. Williams is still injured and Austin had one good game. Like you said, Witten is drawing the double. Add to that the fact that the Cowboys run a lot and maybe Ryan is the better start here. Difficult to say.
True, but keep in mind that Williams is being MOVED DOWN the ladder, this was posted cause of the numbers he gets! Austin will get passes and cause Ds to double him, opening Witten to do what he does best!!
Ryan is facing a AVG secondary but a good pass rush defense!! This MIGHT make it so the Falcons go more on the ground, plus the star WR for the Falcons (White) has been erratic as Romo so tough to figure this one, but I lean towards a run offense for them this week!!
Romo is facing the opposite as the Falcons have a good secondary with a AVG pass rush D. True Romo has been hit and miss but that was due to the fact that he didn't have a go to guy and Witten is being doubled teamed. But their last game, Austin showed that he can be as well as the coaching staff so he is starting this week to see. Barber is playing as Felix might too, so Dallas is going to be the Dallas THEY can be and have a good game in the air and on the ground.
With that said, Romo SHOULD edge Ryan in fantasy points and I go with Romo!! JMO!!

Ryan -- Dallas secondary has weaknesses that can be exploited, and I like Ryan just a bit more. This is a tough one, though.

Drivie,
I trying not to be bias on this but here you go:
