I have a solid RB situation with D'angelo, Kevin Smith, and Thomas Jones as my third starter. On the Bench I picked up McFadden late in case he has a breakout season. Do you think I should pick up Lynch for Mcfadden ( I should be OK for 3 weeks) and have another starter RB. What do you think the chances of Mcfadden busting out this year are.

Also if you don't mind answering a second question, what do you think Smith will do this year?

I'd wait it out on the pickup decision --- and I like Kevin Smith a lot as an RB2 -- he could catch a lot of balls as he will be relied on heavily in Detroit's fresh offense

I'd wait and see if I were you. There's a chance Fred Jackson may step up and take the starting job or that McFadden will have his breakout, at which point you will regret picking up Lynch at the expense of McFadden. Wait until Lynch's suspension is over to make your decision.

I see Smith getting upwards of 1000 yards but less than 1200 yards, and having around 8 or 9 TDs.

Why drop McFadden? Don't you have a different player at a different position you can drop?

Nevermind, just checked out your odd system there.

Thanks for the awesome advice

This is the same guy who wanted to drop McFadden for Jonathan Stewart and have "all of the Panthers' rushing point". Do it, who cares? You clearly don't want McFadden and you don't listen to our advice.

Voltron's right, VERY strange. What do you do on bye weeks?

bpfinne Mon 9/7/09 7:10 PM

We have an IR activated to put your bye players on ONLY for their bye week. It is not allowed to be used for players who are actually injured or suspended. They either take up 1 of the 2 bench spots or u drop them. I know it's a weird league, but it is a lot of fun and even though there are a lot of good players available, the limited bench and no back up QB or Ds actually make you really need to put a lot of thought into your decisions. We enjoy it. It's all friends and family so nobody tries any BS.
