So I've got one Flex spot open and 3 different players from 3 different positions to consider, each :
Ryan Grant
Anquan Boldin
Vernon Davis
Tony Gonzalez
Right now I've got Grant in the flex and Gonzo in the TE position. Am I crazy for considering otherwise?
Grant is THE RB in Green Bay, but I'm worried that even if he isn't sharing carries the Vikings will shut him down. Boldin is gimped, but even as a gimp he managed to catch 75 yards worth against the NYG, no less. Still, he only had 3 catches, and you've got to think Grant will be seeing more action, and thus more potential than that. And Vernon Davis obviously had his career week in 7, and is now going up against the abysmal Titans pass/rush. Meanwhile, Gonzo is facing NYG, which is going to be able to cover the Falcons receivers a lot better than the Cardinals.
So, four players and two positions. Flex and TE. Questions, comments, fits of rage?
I'd stick with what you have. Your reasoning is sound, although I do think it's close between Gonzo (vs. NO) and Davis (vs. IND) at the TE pick. I think Packers will try to pass more with CB Antoine Winfield out, rather than leaning on Grant vs. the Williams Wall.
