I have Calvin Johnson and have an offer for a straight up trade for Miles Austin. I'm not a Cowboys fan, but their games are on local tv every week. This might make watching them a little more enjoyable. Does anyone have any reservations on an Austin drop in productivity this year?
I personally think you should make the trade. Austin is not a fluke. Keep in mind he did his damage last year in basically TWELVE games. And he seriously outperformed CJ overall and on a per game basis.
Both guys are going to get their numbers, but I like Austin to finish second in wr scoring to Andre Johnson. Maybe Moss finishes second, but I don't see anyone else putting up more points. Keep in mind that Austin has a better QB throwing him the ball. Also that CJ, as good as he is, is injury prone. The fact that you get to watch Cowboys games week in and week out brings it all home. Trade with confidence.
I am not sure if the other three posters are speaking in code so let me speak in english.I really like Austin as well as Calvin.I would go with Austin if you get to watch him.the guy is clearly # 1 and the year he had last year was not dampened by Romo throwing to WiTTen or butterfingers Roy E..Also Dez is a rookie,he may catch 35 to 45 balls this year (not counting the ones to his chin). If people think Dez will take looks away from Austin then you better remember that Detroit also added Burleson who will have a terrific season.
P.S....Megatron is no longer in a Mike Martz system as he is coaching in Chicago this year.Have you paid any attention over the off season VaBhodi?Last but not least, never take fantasy advice from a guy who doesnt have accurate information or from a guy who cannot leave a response that you can understand.
I say grab Austin, sit back with a beer and enjoy the game...
Lmao I was thinking the same thing, when I seen it said CJ/Megatron in a Martz system.Guess he missed all the talk about who will be the breakout bears wr under Martz. Also the dont draft T.E Olsen because Martz dont use the T.e.Anyway I can see what he is saying about Austin has done it for less than a year. That being said I think he still puts up very good #'s.I personally would keep Megatron.I know he disappointed some last year. But I think He(CJ)Puts up alot better #'s this year.He has burelson and scheffler around. An the lions might get a run game this year. But thats just my opinion.
both on on the throwing mode this year, with noone calvin produce decent numbers now hes surrounded by better players , austin has had top flight around him from the start, I think megatron has a slight edge, but to watch the game week in week out I go with miles give you somebody to scream at.

Would be foolish to trade away CJ for a (so-far) 1 year wonder. Megatron is consistent points............in a Mike MArtz system.
