Draft Salary: $ 260

Roster Size: 2 C, 1 1B, 1 3B, 1 CI, 1 2B, 1 SS, 1 MI, 5 OF, 1 Utility, 9 P 23 Total.

• Everyone starts (unless on DL or in Minors)

• 10 DL spots and 10 Minors spots

o In order to send a player to the minors, that player must been called up on the 25 Man Roster of the MLB team and then sent to the minors. The owner may then pick up another player while the other player is DL’d. When the DL’d player returns to active service on his MLB team, the Fantasy owner has a week chose between either the MLB player returning or keep the player currently on his active roster.

o In order to send a player to the DL the he must be placed on the DL by his MLB team.

• Normally the draft will be held prior to the season. In this case a team may not have more than 2 players who are not on their respective MLB team on opening day. If there is more than 2, the team owner must drop the extra players in the minors over 2 and replace them with players on a MLB 25 man roster. (This prevents the stockpiling of top prospects and helps the competitive balance of the league)

Position Eligibility:

• 20 Games played in the prior season.

• 5 games played in the current season

Roster Moves:

• Roster moves may be made throughout the season, except for the last week.

• The salaries for waiver wire pick ups will be $10 and contract will be an A

• Trade deadline is August 15th and opens back up the day after the MLB post season ends

• After adding a player that player is added to the active roster and must remain there for a week until an owner can drop him.

Keeper Rules

• An owner may carry over a maximum of 15 players to the next year’s roster. There is no minimum players

• Keeper rosters must be submitted 1 week prior to the draft date

• Contract Basics

o 1st year= A, 2nd year= B, 3rd year= O

 After player’s O year he is eligible to be drafted again

• Long Terming

o If you would like to keep a player longer than their scheduled contract, you can long term him

o At the end of his B contract year you can chose to long term a player’s contract past his scheduled expiration date. Each long termed year costs $5.

 For example player X is going to be an O at $10

• Owner wants to long term him for one year

o Contract becomes: O+1 $15

• Owner wants to long term for two years

o Contract becomes O+2 $20

Expansion Draft: If we would like the league to grow adding a new team involves an expansion draft, if one team quits and we can find a replacement owner no expansion draft will be held and that new owner will take over the existing team.

• Owners 3 weeks prior to scheduled draft day will turn in a protected roster consisting of 11 players. The new owner may select no more than 2 players from one team. The new owner may select a maximum of 15 players. All contract salaries remain the same however their contract year reverts to A status.

Fees:

• League CBS fee is divided by # of teams

• Draft Fee: $70

• $1 per move

Payout: The money from the draft fee and moves fee are pooled together to pay the winners.

• 1st= 55% of pool

• 2nd= 30% of pool

• 3rd= 15% of pool

Commissioners Duty: To maintain league standards and fair trades

• Make sure all rules and roster policies are enforced

• Reviews all trades and moves (so tanking teams can’t be *** Keeps track of CBS to make sure all moves and fees are being tallied

• Collects money

• Takes care of all technical problems with CBS

• Pays winners

• Rules may be added or changed with 58% majority vote

• Makes sure all contracts and salaries are correct
