“Golden Era Dynasty H2H Points” (GED-HP) seeks one hardcore owner to take control of the league’s Montreal Expos franchise. 2024 is year 3 for GED-HP, year 8 for 16-team GED-HC (H2H Cats), & year 9 for 14-team GED-R (Roto).
GED-HP snapshot: 20 teams & 4 divisions (listed below), semi-weekly matchups, 40 scoring categories (20 hitting, 20 pitching), 57-man rosters (32/25 MLB/MiLB split), 12 playoff clubs, & division champs get a 1st-round bye. GED-HP is governed by a detailed League Constitution.
The league setup (sketched below) is similar to those of GED-HC & GED-R except for scoring format, which is a H2H points system. I believe this unique system captures the best qualities of both points systems I played during 2020-2021, while adding significant new wrinkles.

Team Names: All teams adopt the name of a defunct MLB or Negro League franchise that’s among the 20 specific clubs selected for GED-HP on the basis of historical considerations.
MLB roster (32 players)
12 active hitters: C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, MI, CI, LF, CF, RF, OF, UT
9 active pitchers: all can be either SP or RP
11 bench: subdivided among hitters & pitchers as one sees fit
MiLB roster (25 players)
Eligibility cutoff is 400-200-100 career MLB AB-IP-GP(pitchers), which typically translates to 2-3 years MLB service time for hitters-SP-RP. These 25 players can be subdivided among hitters & pitchers as one sees fit.
IR roster (unlimited)
Important caveat: League free agents that are already on their MLB team's IR list cannot be claimed at any time (in- or off-season). A GED-HP club’s IR list can only be used for players already on their MLB or MiLB roster when such players are placed on their MLB team's IR.
Pitcher Starts: 4 max per semi-weekly matchup
FA + WW claims: 7 max per week
Playoff clubs: 4 division champions (1st-round bye) & top 8 remaining clubs
2024 owner buy-in: $106.50 ($100 prize-payout share plus $6.50 site-fee share) collected through the Fantrax treasury system, which is also used to disperse year-end winnings to playoff seeds 1-8 (includes the 4 division champions), the playoff final four, plus the league runner-up & champion.
