This is my first time playing a fleaflicker league. I'm in a 10 team fantasy basketball league that drafted midseason. Over the past two weeks I've noticed a "yz" designation next to teams with lesser records. I originally thought it meant they were eliminated from playoff contention. Mathematically it doesn't add up, there is now one team that has the yz designation that is currently projected as the 6th seed in the playoff bracket. What the heck does this mean???

Ginjah,

Thanks so much for reaching out to us!

The "y" means that the team is eliminated from Division contention (they cannot win the division)

The "z" means that the team is eliminated from Round 1 Bye contention (they can make the playoffs, but it's impossible to get a 1st round bye).

Once the team has been mathmatically eliminated from playoff contention, you'll see an "o" next to the "y" and "z". This means that the team has been mathematically eliminated from playoff contention.

So, since there is no "o" next to said team's name just yet, that means they are still in contention for the playoffs.

Please let us know if you have any other questions!

Note: If you log onto your league page via computer, you can hover your cursor over the "y" and "z" designations and it will tell you what each mean. This is also available on the mobile site, as well, by tapping the designations.
