Our Waiver Wire is set by order of last waiver wire pick up and does NOT reset every week. We also require players that are dropped to go through a 24 hour waiver process - so they are not immediately available and each team has a chance to pick them up. However I noticed that IF a team puts a claim on a player who was dropped during the week and is granted that player because they are ahead in the order of the waiver wire they do NOT get pushed to the back of the pack for that weeks next waiver wire selection. For instance I was #9 on the waiver order coming out of last week and two teams ahead of me claimed players that were dropped during the week and I am still #9 - they should've moved to 11 and 12 and everyone else should've moved up two spots....
In addition to this question, If I want owners' waiver priorities to increase due to a lack of acquisitions, should I just change the setting to "update weekly" to no?
I would like to change this since, in my opinion, if an owner does not make a claim one week and 3 or 4 others do, they should gain a higher priority in the following week(s). The current setting is just based on wins and losses from the previous week, regardless of the last week's waiver position.
