Whats the difference between free agents and those on waivers? Our league is new to this site and are trying to figure it out. I'm assuming waivers follow an order and free agents are 1st come 1st serve. Also the time on waivers(24 hrs or 48 hrs) is that the time when the dropped player CANNOT be picked up or is that the time he CAN be picked up? Sorry if I confused anyone.
a. Free Agent Pool / Waivers off = First come , First Served
b. Waivers - The time the player is listed on waivers that you are referring to only includes players who are dropped by another team. Players in the waiver-wire pool are all processed collectively during your processing day at 8AM EST.
That time period just is in regards to a player who is dropped by another team.
So if you have Matt Leinart, and you dropped him today, he would not be a free agent until 24/48 hours if unclaimed
