I was wondering if we can incorporate it into my leagues ? And should I since teams “ rest “ players at that point of the season ? Or has FF already made that change for us ?

In both my leagues, we moved the playoffs back by 1 week, to weeks 15-17. That automatically extends the regular season by 1 week, so we now have 14 regular season matchups.

This means that, in 12-team/3-division leagues, you now play against every non-division opponent. That is a nice side effect. So far, you played only 7 of the 8 teams outside your division.

So how does the extra vs the median and vs the average week work ???

Good question, we don't play any of these options.

My best guess is that you will then play against the league median/average, instead of a non-division opponent. So if you score better than the league median/average that week, you get a W.

What are most leagues doing with the extra week? Are leagues moving playoffs to weeks 15-17 or keeping with the standard 14-16 weeks?

The NFL schedule has byes in week 14, so moving playoffs back a week would make sense.

Yes you can, set championship week in commissioner settings, including week 18 if you wish. It looks like the NFL will be only handing out 1 bye in each conference again this year. Difficult to say what number of teams will have something to play for as far as making the playoffs, home field, seeding and the bye.
