Thanks for the reply. Sorry still a little confused about the set lineup button. I was thinking that set lineup was locking the players in for the week but based on your response it is different because the players in our league lock at game start.
So to make sure I (entire league actually is new to fantasy) understand "set lineup" for lack of a better word activates the players for that week?? So if you don't hit "set lineup" for a week then NONE of my players would earn fantasy points???
1) You have to set the lineup and remember to submit it every time
2) Each league is different. Most leagues will lock the player's slot only when that team plays that week. We have two options:
Lineup Lock a) at game start b) first game of the week
The league you're in locks at game start, meaning if you have a player on the Packers or Saints, only they will lock on Thursday and then the Sunday guys will still be able to be moved around.

I am new to fantasy and have a couple questions about setting lineup.
First if I forget to actually hit the set lineup button will it automatically set it at some point with the current playes listed as starters?
Second, when is the set lineup cutoff?? For example in week one we have thusday games. In most weeks the first games are Sunday each week.
Thanks in advance

There are your starters on top and your bench on bottom -- you only gain active points (tiebreakers aside) from your starters.
It does lock for the entire week, but you can move your players around up until game time of their game.
If none of the players are in your starting lineup, you get 0 points. If they are there by default, those will be your starters and point grabbers.
