On the Team > Roster screen, the numbers in the Draft Pos column are color-coded either black, green (very close to black on my display), orange or red. What do these colors indicate and are there any colors other than the four I mentioned?

Now that the season started are these useless draft rankings going to be gone from our team pages?

They disappear after week 1.

Excellent. Thanks for the help!

There are also colors when I hold my mouse over the opposing team. It's counter intuitive though. It seems that the green stats are the lowest ranked, and the red stats are the highest ranked. Is this an indication of how well or badly the opposing team performs against you?

For instance, I hold my mouse over @WAS in the QB category for this weeks game (I have Tony Romo) all the stats there are red with rankings of 10th, 10th, and 8th. Does this mean that Washington's qb is expected to be 10th, 10th, and 8th in those stat categories (within the league) against my team? It seems like the numbers should correlate to my qb, not the opposing teams...

I guess I am just confused

the color coding is going to stay consistent with our specifications below, regardless of if it's your team or not

Red means bad, green means good. Orange means not so great.

We use these colors everywhere on the site. And they always have that meaning.

When you mouse over @WAS, it shows Washington's Def rankings against opposing QBs. They are ranked 10th in the league in giving up yd/g to the opposing QBs, 10th in giving up td/g, 8th in giving up ffpts/g. They are in red indicating a tough matchup for Romo.

If you mouse over a Def showing green stats, its a favorable match for the offensive player. For instance, Cutler against DET. When you mouse over DET, stats are in green as Detroit's Def is ranked 32nd in all 3 categories. Good matchup for Cutler.

It is based on how that player ranks within the fantasy league and depends on how many that league starts at the position.

If a player is the 13th best QB at a category and your league of 12

starts exactly 12 QBs, that player is a bad starter to have. You should have one of the top 12 guys.

Red=bad, worse than all other starters (13th or worse in the above)

orange=not so hot (80+%, so in the above example 10th QB or worse)

[no color]=average--between 25th-80th% (between 4th and 10th QB in above)

green=good (top 25%. so in the above example player should be in the

top 3 QB)

LOL The way you guys rank players I'm better off with a 20 ranked over your 2
