The system allows you to prioritize bids for players in non-descending bid amount order. This means you could place bids in order $0 top priority, $1 next priority, etc until the max you'd want to bid which would allow you to get the player for the cheapest possible price unless the system is smart enough to keep iterating through your lower priority claims for higher bid amounts. I haven't taken the time to test this out, but I thought it worth mentioning in case the system is exploitable.
Hi there! Technically you can try setting this up, but it won't actually pan out for you. You will just end up getting the player at the highest bid price you put in place if you win the claim and the others will be ignored.
