Currently sitting if things work out how they should, there will be 3 teams up for 2 spots. All tied at 8-6. 2 teams from the same division, we will call teams A and B. And 1 team from another division, team C. Playoff tiebreakers go head to head, division record, then points for. In this scenario, team A and B split, Team C beat team A, but lost to team B. But team A will finish above team B in the division standings. What 2 teams will go to the playoffs?
For ties of 3+ teams, this is applicable only if one team wins the head-to-head tiebreaker over each of the others or if one team loses the head-to-head tiebreaker to each of the others.
I have the same issue: The "Best Division Record" beats "Most average Points/Game", although the teams (5 in my case) are not alle in the same division, so this rule shouldn't apply, right?
