Since I'm the commissioner of my league, I had to resort to using the Edit Roster setting to drop a player that was on my IR list because he's no longer on IR. I didn't have a place for him on my active roster, so I just wanted to drop him from my team, but there was no option to do that from my team page. All I could do was either keep him on IR or put him on my bench. I think being able to just drop a player on your team's IR list is a feature that should be added.
Also, when a player is no longer eligible to be on the IR list, it should force the team owner to either put that player on their active roster or drop him. I was able to keep that player on my IR list even though he's no longer out (he's listed as Questionable now - Chris Olave). I didn't want to unfairly take advantage of this glitch/loophole, so I removed him from my team.
If this feature is already in place as an option, please tell me how to set that up.
Yes you can cut players who are on your IR. It is exactly the same procedure as cutting a player on your active roster. On the web interface you use the drop down menu with the sprocket icon. Flea does not force a team to activate ineligible players from the IR, but it does designate the roster as "illegal." The penalty for having an illegal roster is not being able to claim players off waivers. Kind of a soft consequence but it is what it is.

Okay, I see that now. I just forgot how to cut a player from my roster since I haven't done that in a long time.
