How do I leave a league without affecting my loyalty. I’ve been tryi my for a couple years to get my red flag removed. If I ask commish to remove me would that be held against me?
Good assessment Big X. In addition, BigBaldBastard posted fairly recently that he believes if a league is a private league it is exempt from the red flag system. It is my feeling that there is no automation for red flag removal, but I don't know that for fact. Guys who petition FleaAdmin seem to get results but that is very hit or miss.

Once the old season ends (this year it was Feb. 10th) you can safely leave a league right up until the draft starts.
Once the draft has started and up until the season ends (next year it's Feb. 11th) if you leave it will be held against you.
From what I can tell it's like 3-5 in season drop outs to get a red flag.
As far as I can tell at any time during the year (in season or not) the commisioner can remove you without any penalty.
Honestly, I've never met anyone that knew difinitively what the criteria was for flags. I'm sure somewhere it's spelled out, but I've never found it.
This is just what I've observed over the last several years.
